So, I'm thinking, because my muse is being a tease at the moment, I might embark on project of daily drabbles.  Then at least when I only manage 100 words in a day I shall feel like I accomplished something.

Thing is, I'm not sure I have ideas for daily drabbling.   I've looked at things like those "100 prompt" lists, but I pretty much just stare blankly at prompts like 'red' , 'square', 'when?' and the like.  On the other hand, for drabbles you don't really want a very specific prompt either.

Help me, flist, you're my only hope.
*doffs cinnamon rolls*

Give me a phrase or concept to play with?  Or give me a character/pairing/episode time-frame/something to hook onto and one of the prompts from [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100 's table or another similar one of your choice.

Fandoms I'll take a stab at:  Narnia, Merlin, New Who, Dark is Rising (books only), Harry Potter, Borgias.
Fandoms I might maybe possibly consider trying: Camelot, Avatar: tLA (series only), Pirates of the Carribean,  Mary Russell novels, Stargate SG-1, Rome.
Stuff that is popular right now that I don't follow at all (so don't give me these): SPN, Glee, Game of Thrones, Chuck.  Also I don't know Torchwood well.

Please, please, please?

ETA:  I really wish LJ would stop randomly switching between "rich text" and "html" when I open the 'post' window. *grumble*

I share your pain about the Muses. They are totally uncooperative these days with the projects that I want to work on, not the stuff I should set aside for the moment.

Hmm. As for writing ideas... how about something related to May Day, since that just ended the other day? Or... what if Camelot's Arthur and Merlin's Arthur traded places? (I'm terrible at providing prompts, which is why I never do so in the first place.)

As for LJ's posting editor, you can set which one you want displayed by default in the account settings here. I think it's automatically set to "Last Used", but you can specify Rich Text or HTML by default instead.

Doctor Who

Narnia

Hope those work! (And this sounds an awful lot like what I just started doing on my tumblr - a drabbly scribble sort of thing a night to stir up the muse.)

Something Narnian with talking horses. Or corgis. I haven't read The Silver Chair in a while, but for some reason I remember the evil lady's horses where named Snowflake and Coalblack; perhaps a story about them? XD A story from the perspective of the White Stag. Something about that underwater kingdom they see in Dawn treader. Other weird trees that might have originated in Magician's Newphew.

Crossover idea: Narns in Narnia? (A magical hatch opens on the station; techno-mages involved?) Or The Doctor in Narnia. Or The Doctor on B5 (meets Franklin).

Hm. Something Dark Is Rising, with Merriman, and a winter day cold enough to freeze the ink in an inkwell.
