ARRRRRGGGGGH!!!

lady_songsmithTried to register for classes on Tuesday. Every single course bounced back as needed department clearance, for reasons unknown -- and nonsensical, since there are no prereqs but proper graduate standing for any of them. Wrote immediately to the person who can clear me for them.
She just got back to me this evening. And in the 4 days since I tried to register, two of the classes filled, and I'm now wait-listed for them. One of them, I NEED to graduate, so I WILL get in it, I'm sure, but the other I don't know about, and this schedule was hard enough to craft as it was!
This SUCKS!
Oh, and this is the same problem I had getting THIS semester's courses set up -- course had spots open, web registration bounced, course closed.
