I know you probably have to read the financial news for your line of work, but let me assure you that it's not the coincidence of the news and bill paying that's getting you down. It's just the financial news, period.
Denial is the only course of action, I fear, that will allow us to function. Other than calling your congressman, we little people can't do much about this mess, and if we're going to get up, go to work, cook meals, clean the house, and yes, pay the bills, without weeping all over everything, we just have to pretend we're not thinking about it.
