First day of classes

First day of classes, second class. Our professor, a real-live rocket scientist just ended his slideshow of family pictures with a picture of a half-grown chicken... the story of which he promised to tell us later.

Think I'm going to like this class.

Actually, it was a pretty ugly chicken. It was an adolescent chicken. Y'know -- after they're cute and before they get proper feathers.

I can tell you're back to school. :-P

I dunno, though - I think grad students have feathers. College is iffy... I suppose they're fledging. But by grad school most people have spent at least a year or two pretending to be adults.
