So, that last entry? I think it was option two. (Though I haven't yet discounted the cookie theory.)

I just got an email from my soon-to-be-ex-cohost, in which he makes "a proposal to retract the LOA."

Me: Like. Hell. *throws things*

Dear complete and unmitigated arsehole,

>Ever since I made the decision to leave, I haven't felt like I made the absolute correct decision.

You did. Trust me, you did. There was dancing in the streets, even. How much more of a sign of correctness do you need? You brought joy to many people!

>I would like to retract my proposal to quit simming altogether and leaving the command staff.

Fuck you, the horse you rode in on, the guy who sold you the horse, and your mother.

>When I talked to you to make my decision about leaving, I was encouraged how quickly you called me.

Unlike you, I don't leave people hanging for months.

>It showed that you were willing to work things out between us to more effectively manage the sim.

It showed I have a measure of professional courtesy and decorum that you utterly lack, you git.

>2. Taking a LOA for the length of mirror plot.

You are really afraid of that plot, aren't you? What, you think reading about people kissing is going to break your wingnut-fundie brain?

>3. Working out our differences and setting new guidelines for us in mid-late September. Establishing a clear and fair distribution of labor. Creating a mechanism of accountability.

We haven't managed this in 16 months, what makes you think we can do it in two weeks while attempting to start Season 2 with a bang?

>4. Taking on the responsibility for running the first two plots of the second season (Oct-Dec).

First of all, the first two plots of the second season would be September to November, as you would know if you'd bothered to read either the plot outline or the timing sketch I sent you. You lazy asshole.

Secondly, I developed the second season over-arc, with no help from you. When I asked you to help order and flesh out the plots, you ignored me. I therefore went ahead and picked three to start with, and fleshed them out myself. You think you get to run them? What color is the sky in your world, bozo?

>I am excited about the next season, life in the Carina arm. I am committed to seeing the Agincourt develop.

Shame you're not committed enough to do any of the work involved in helping her develop, then. Buzz off.

>I am completely serious about this, it's not a joke.

That's what you think.

>What do you say?

*runs through a rather lengthy rendition of every obscene gesture in her repertoire*
No.

Sincerely,
Your incredibly pissed and very much ex-cohost
P.S. Fuck you.

Now for a reply I can send. Hmm...

Clearly, your ex-co-host lives on what my sister and I have now dubbed "Planet Happy." We think it's nice there, but the people who live there aren't usually lucid enough to confirm.

Good Luck!!

I think Willy Wonka said it best...

"Wrong, sir! Wrong! Under section 37B of the contract signed by him, it states quite clearly that all offers shall become null and void if - and you can read it for yourself in this photostatic copy - "I, the undersigned, shall forfeit all rights, privileges, and licenses herein and herein contained," et cetera, et cetera..."Fax mentis incendium gloria cultum," et cetera, et cetera..."Memo bis punitor delicatum!" It's all there, black and white, clear as crystal! You stole fizzy lifting drinks. You bumped into the ceiling which now has to be washed and sterilized, so you get nothing! You lose! Good day sir!"

- You know who. ;)
