1. What is your SCA name? (You don't have to write the full name, just your first name if you want.) - Ceara inghean Eirnin
2. What is your home kingdom? - Caid. Yes, I live in East. It's still Caid.
3. Have you ever lived in another kingdom? If so, where? - See above.
4. Do you remember your first SCA event? When/what was it? - Heatherwyne Tugboats, 2001
5. Do you have any awards? (You don't have to list them if you don't want) - nope
6. Do you list them after your name in communications like e-mail?
7. Do you have a device? - Designed. Some day I will get around to registering, assuming it hasn't developed conflicts in the three years it's been consigned to my filing crate. Azure, on a bend argent three leaves azure. Any heralds about are welcome to conflict-check if they're so inclined; I've misplaced the online armorial thingie link.
8. Do you use it? On what? - No, and I've been wondering what I would use it on, practically speaking.
9. Are you on all the kingdom/society lists available to you, or do you avoid them? - A few. I don't get things emailed to me, though, mostly. I read them at the archives periodically.
10. Do you keep your Pennsic/Estrella/Gulf Wars/etc. site tokens? - I'm a packrat in mundane life; you expect me to be otherwise in the SCA?
11. Do you keep the favours you've been given by royalty/friends/SOs, etc.? Do You wear them all? - Have none. Have made some, and am flattered to note that they appear to still be worn.
12. Do you call your friends by their SCA names even when you're not at an event? - If I don't know their real name. Which happens a lot. Also I'm bad with names, so I don't remember both sets.
13. Do you go out to dinner in garb after an event? - Sure! Freaking the mundanes is fun! Plus there's a high percentage of mundanes that are fascinated rather than freaked, which is even more fun!!
14. Do you have all kinds of garb, or do you generally stick to one period? - I don't have enough garb to answer that question properly. I like lots of garb, and I have lots of kinds on my 'to make' list, so probably the former.
15. How many interests do you have within the SCA? What's your favourite? - Favorite? I have to pick a favorite? Not fair!
16. Do you have an SCA-oriented web site? - Nope.
17. Do you maintain a hairstyle that is more period style than modern? How about any other part of your appearance? - No. In fact I have a very period unfriendly style (too short).
18. Do you tell "No $###, there I was" stories? (Admit it.) Do any of them involve well-known SCA people? - Uhm.... hmm. *considers* Well, I guess there's the one about the burning fountain, but that's more a "college" story than an "SCA" story.
19. Authenticity is Fun. Yes or no? Why? - Yes, and I wish I saw more of it. With exceptions for health (eyeglasses, shoes with good support, etc) and budget (hi, college student - *waves*) and such, of course.
20. Is there one modern thing at events that really bugs you? - Well, it doesn't really bug me, but I would like to hear less about mundane stuff like days at the office and car repairs at events. I recognize that events are the only chance some people get to socialize with this group of friends, so stuff like that will come up, but it seems to happen a lot.
Bonus Question! 21. Everyone has a shameful garb/accessory mistake hidden somewhere in their past. What's yours? (We're all friends here, we promise not to laugh. Much.) - Mine, luckily, never saw the light of day beyond my suitemates, on whom I have plenty of reciprocal dirt. Let's just say that before my first GWW, I learned a lot about how not to make a pair of pants. Barring that, the worst thing that has happened to me garb-wise thus far was the skirt that wouldn't stay fastened.
