Senior party!
May. 9th, 2004 12:39 amSo today was the seniors' Champagne Brunch (followed by traditional streaking to pool). A real blast -- good music in Fowler, except when feedback from the mic drowned it out, and it was great to have the whole class together like that. The pool was, uhm, interesting... at first. Then you get used to it. And that was great too -- I haven't talked to some of these seniors for most of the year, so it was fun to hang out with them. Bah, it sounds sorta lame in text, but it was a great party and I wish it had lasted longer. There were smaller parties in the dorms afterwards, but I didn't go. Instead I got cleaned up and went over to Boone for Juliette and Nikhil's recital. And that was cool too. Nice to be able to go to fun things again, after being buried all semester. And their recital was terrific; Juliette's "Ich hab' in Penna einen Liebsten" was so funny, and I loved the "Songs of Travel" selections Nikhil did. And a record for fastest I've ever heard G&S's "I Have a Song to Sing" done!
